Hands down major improvement
This was easy to install and works exactly like I hoped.
I initially had trouble getting the EasyTouch thermostat to work so I called Hutch Mountain for assistance. Jesse provided friendly and responsive troubleshooting instructions and we determined that my unit was defective. Jesse arranged to have a new one sent so that it arrived just before the start of a trip! The new thermostat is so much easier and convenient to use, especially with the included app. I should have done this upgrade sooner.
P put a message on the Fleetwood Bounder forum on Face Book about wanting to upgrade the old Thermostat in our motor home. Everyone of the replies I received told me to go with the Micro-Air EasyTouch Thermostat RV 354C. One reply even gave me the there phone Number. I looked them up on line and found out that they were out of stock so I gave them a call and did not realize it was there lunch time in UT. They had a very funny answering message and I left them my phone number. I had a return call in 30 minutes. He was very helpful and in about 2 minutes told me he had one in hand which he promptly shipped to me. Installation was a piece of cake. I unplugged the old one and plugged in the new one. I then installed two screws in the wall for the new one to mount on and it was done. The instruction sheet did not have have the name of the App for the phone so I sent them a E-Mail and had a Phone call in about 10 Minutes. They are revising the instruction sheet. Now I have the ability to check on the temperature of the Motor Home from anywhere and can change it in just a few seconds on the App. I think it is one of the best Mods I have done as I do not have to get the flashlight and glasses out every time to make an adjustment.
